Amazon UK Review

I found the animation, rhyming story and gruesome humour remarkable and wonderful. It's fantastic to read out loud and it's a real joy in every sense.

This is a particularly fine example of a genre that historically we in Ireland and England do so well; the creepy tale in ballad form. The rhyming scheme is remarkably consistent and is redolent of Alfred Noyse's the Highwayman and the tale is perfectly balanced between being quirky and being genuinely unsettling. The artwork compliments this perfectly and captures the odd goings on very well. Overall this is a fantastic little tale, well-told and evocative.
