In the game of golf all the basics i.e. the grip, the stance, the position of the ball at address, the position of the hands at the top of the backswing and the transferring of the weight at the beginning of the downswing are all connected to each other. It is therefore essential to understand each of the basics so that they can work together to create a reliable and consistent swing. Perhaps the most difficult basic to understand and perfect is transferring the weight. In many ways transferring the weight when propelling an object is quite natural to the human being but many people tend to complicate this action when it comes to the game of golf. Unfortunately in the game of golf many golfers fail to transfer their weight and end up with most of their weight on the back foot after they have completed their swing. This results in a loss of distance and accuracy.
