About the Author

Preface

This is a short collection of deeply emotional, true-life, poetry regarding child abuse, abandonment, neglect, a broken heart and, finally, survival. It was written over several years and expresses the anguish and heartbreak of an unwanted, abused child, who grew up thinking that there was no such thing as family, trust or love.
