Walter watched the firelight dancing on the nude bodies of the girls dancing around the bonfire, and his last few reservations about accompanying his new girlfriend to the pagan ceremony faded away with each bounce of their firm breasts. The girls' skin had been painted with esoteric designs in a few different pigments, geometric sacred symbols that seemed vaguely familiar to Walter's uninitiated eyes. He was paying more attention to the pale and tan flesh that served as its canvas, fit Californian pagan women cavorting about to the drum circle that surrounded them just beyond the firelight's radius. The beat was resonating with the pounding of his heart.
