Kuba was sitting on the low wall just around the corner. It was his favorite place, his back supported by the brick corner of the building. It was so comfortable here that it was hard to resist, especially after a few beers at the kiosk at Czerniakowska street, where all the guys from the neighborhood went to drink. Strangers rarely ventured to drink beer in this place, especially after dark.
