“I can’t believe you’re doing this,” The little window on my chat popped up and gave a jump.
“I know you are probably really sad, but it’s for the best, really” I typed to her back.
“You know you’re my best friend. How am I going to find someone else like you?” Amanda typed in a sad tone.
“You’ll find someone. You are popular and pretty, and you’ve got a bunch of friends already”
“I wish you didn’t have to do this. I’m going to miss you a lot, Hailley” She was upset, I could tell, but what could I do? It was all for the best, I kept telling myself this.
“Please don’t make this harder than it already is Manda. I’m going to miss you too, you know that. I’ll keep in touch I promise.” I typed back.
“You better. If you don’t I’ll be angry, haha. But hey, stop by my house Friday.
We will have some fun one last time. Come around 5. I’ve got to go, later” She logged off and didn’t even give me a chance to say bye or even ask why she said to stop by her
house, I mean yeah I go to her house a lot, but it was just strange.
I put my legs to work and got up, as a stretched every bone in me seemed to be tight. I looked over at my little computer chair, how many times has that chair given my bones a hard time? A lot of times, I turned around to see my naked room. All my posters were down in boxes, every picture I had was down. I wasn’t used to this at all. Reality started to set in.
