Harold II Godwinson (b.1022, d.1066) the last Saxon king of England. Having defeated the Danes he died of his wounds following the Battle of Hastings in 1066. An event recorded by the Bayeux Tapestry. He reigned between January 5th and October 14th 1066 and is buried in Waltham Abbey.
