My Reality Show

Do you find this amusing?

Most of my fellow citizens don’t have a clue that you exist. They wander about, drinking their coffee, doing their jobs, living their daily lives, and call that reality. They are totally unaware of you.

I wish I could say the same.

I spent the first few years of my life with your voices in my head, telling me to do things, to perform acts for no discernible reason. After you told me to burn Mary’s dollhouse – I don’t know what you were thinking, but I was only six, didn’t really have the concept down that other parts of her room would catch fire, too - I held you responsible for that, and told my parents about how you told me to do it, and they told the counselor, and he talked about my over active imagination.
