Falling For You
I twirled off into her sea like eyes, as if being sucked in by a whirl pool
I felt as if I was in a trance, like gazing deep into her eyes was casing a spell on me.
I remember when I first laid eyes on her, gosh it was so COSMETIC.
I remember cowering, feeling a bit intimidated by her beauty
Don’t get me wrong, I’m not talking her sparkling eyes, or her pout lips, or her sweet brown sugar like skin.
I’m talking about her aura, her glow the things I saw when looking beyond her physical appearance, the same things that later captured my heart.
I wanted our love to bloom like a flower in the midst of a green garden, exposing something desirable while keeping it out of reach
I wanted to show her that we could be withered together, allowing our broken hearts to become one
Though we’ve been battered by the very elements of nature, I wanted to open her eyes to a love unattainable like the firmaments of the heavens
I took my time with her savoring every last second, each and every breathe holding her gently, my flower to kiss
We created a love that was romantic and seasoned, marinated in pure fantasy, a love that would stand against the infatuations of time, a feeling of deep affection, contentment and confidence
