THE SCRIBE

Summer 2013

Published by St. Louis Writers Guild

The St. Louis Writers Guild presents The Scribe: Literary publication for writers, by writers

For more than a decade, The Scribe has been the mainstay for communicating with members of the St. Louis Writers Guild. It began as a way to showcase the organization and share insights into the publishing world. Back issues give a wonderful record of the Guild.

In this issue, Dr. Paul Levinson, internationally known author and communications guru, offers his insights on “A Better Way to Get Out of the Cave: Surmounting the Traditional Publication Syndrome.”

The Summer 2013 edition focuses on WRITING KIDLIT, featuring articles by children’s author and educator Susan Grigsby, freelance illustrator/YA author Jennifer Stolzer, and Young Adult author Cole Gibsen.

Highlights include Jason Braun’s poems “Self Portrait as Still Life” and “Jonesing for Something Nameless.”
