Your life is tied to mine, in this unliving death,

where love swells inside this broken heart;

calamity, to drink the wine of our disease,

and seize the pain of our misfortune;

Come calmly; and drink,

Remember the forgotten faces of the dead;

resume our life, and fade from the shadow

of the living; realize this is fate's

window into our world, we're blessed

With a remainder to our life;

Let's give alms to the gods, and feed them

sacrifice; whole worlds at a time; to please

their greedy hands.

You walk alone, despite the inclination to love;

you spread your wings at night; when it is dark,

and fly upon the sky; cut off from a future form

of love; that parasite of death.

May fortune fade; and turn you under,

pluck your wings and carry you to me;

Foul love; and my desire, purged;
