Prologue:

We all stared at Collin as he reached for the emergency phone. In the middle of a peaceful breakfast with family we are reminded of who we are and what we are here for.

My name is Jordon O’Bryan and I am nineteen years old and married to the man who is reaching for that blasted phone. I know I am young but soon I will be twenty and like everything else in my life I seem to be on an accelerated program. Collin stabilizes me and I love him very much. Without him I would have spiraled into madness and I have no idea who or what I would have become.

I glance around the table at my brother. Jonathon O’Conner sits with his pregnant wife Shay. He is also enhanced. He and Collin were abducted together during a raid. They were forcefully filled with genetic enhancements. Collin’s sister Kerry and her husband Bobby O’Malley complete our little family of misfits. Kerry is my best friend and has been forever. Bobby works for Collin. I guess we all work together at this point. We are based outside of Dublin and also have a location in an underground labyrinth that would make Batman and 007 quite jealous. It is located just outside of Boston, Massachusetts. Our organization is called O’Bryan Industries. Here, it gets a little confusing.
