Very special thanks to my loving family, to Kit Brennan and her incredibly helpful playwriting class and to the wonderful actors I’ve worked with on the show (Sterling Mawhinney, Caitie Parsons and Stéphanie Breton). I owe the completion of this play to them.

Andrew - A timid, but cheerful and usually optimistic man. He has loneliness issues and is rarely out of his home. As such, his attempts to be sociable don’t always work out.

Anita - A stressed and world-weary woman, who is finding it hard to reconnect with her cheerful and optimistic side. She masks her insecurities be being distant… and sometimes a bit mean (though she doesn’t really want to hurt anyone’s feelings).

I purposely leave out details about age and physical appearance, because there are Andrews and Anitas of all ages, colors and shapes. Cast/imagine the roles as you wish.
