Sometimes, you really can’t help who you fall in love with…

Up high in rural Crayton Creek, in the mountains of Washington, an unexpected love blossoms between ambitious twenty-three-year-old Mitch Brady and his beautiful eighteen-year-old sister, Lorelai.

Tall, blond, and handsome Mitch struggles with his sexual attraction and deeper feelings for his younger sister who appears too naïve and ignorant despite her age, and despite her high grades that have won her scholarship to Louisiana University.

Petite, raven-haired, and beautiful Lorelai is faced with being sold into marriage to a man twice her age by their brutal and domineering father. She struggles with her love for her brother and her loyalty to her mother who plots their escape to her birth state, Louisiana. Lorelai’s mother sees her daughter’s scholarship to the prestigious university as her way out of an abusive marriage and poverty-ridden life.

Despite the highest of thresholds they have to overcome, the Brady siblings’ love for one another grows ever stronger, pulling them closer as they struggle with personal relationships, schemes, and family ties that conspire to tear them apart and keep them apart forever.

But never, ever underestimate a Brady.
