A Comic on Phobos

Months out from Europa, Asaph’s Explorer was near the end of its journey back to Mars. Mars’ tiny moon Phobos was so close it filled the view from the window in departure bay two. Paul had been watching the robot base which resided in Phobos’ jagged jaw-like Stickney crater, and he just then realized that a female passenger sat next to him.

Her cute face attracted his attention, and he reached out to her. He spoke in a calm, assured, almost rhythmic voice. “Excuse me. I thought I’d met everyone on this flight. I’m Paul Outlander.”
