For my Daughter

And they all lived happily ever after…

The Daughter of Frost

Once upon a time in a land far far away, the Fairy of the Spring and Jack Frost had a child, a beautiful girl whose skin was as pale as the snow, eyes as blue as a winter sky and hair as dark as coal that hung all the way down to her waist. They named her Aneira and they loved her deeply, but could not touch her and give her the love that a mortal parent could.

Now in this lands wood lived a Woodcutter and his wife. They were old and had no children. Every day the Woodcutter would make logs in the forest, and three times a week he would carry them to town to sell in their old donkey-drawn cart. They made little money and were very poor.
