Dispatch-Code-PURPLE: On 29 September 2153 at 1257 hours Lieutenant First Grade Jonathan Nathan “Lewy Drewy” Andrews, died in action. For extreme bravery beyond the call of duty while engaged in action against the enemy, Lt. Andrews was awarded the Medal of Honor, posthumously. Following a forward action, Lt. Andrews chose to fight on to protect the withdrawal of wounded soldiers and to prevent the overrun of a military aid station. Lt. Andrews manned a damaged OGRE171-A battlesuit while under enemy fire and, with the help of another OGRE171-A, manned by [a First Sergeant] (name withheld in accordance with the Reinstated War Secrets Act of 2110), engaged the enemy. With total disregard for his own life, Lt. Andrews maintained his exposed position in order to engage the enemy force. During this action, he was mortally wounded. His courageous actions helped defeat the enemy attack, and resulted in [numerous] (ibid) enemy soldiers killed, while allowing the safe withdrawal of [numerous] (ibid) wounded soldiers. This award was approved by the Consolidated Chiefs of Staffs of the United Military on 29 September 2153 at 1259 hours. Notification of the award was sent to the family of Lt. Andrews. Under the Congressional Rationing Order of 2111, manufacture of Lt. Andrews’ Medal of Honor and presentation of the medal and accompanying flag to his surviving relatives is hereby delayed until the end of major combat operations.
