It all started the night Carmela Vargas had one too many wine spritzers.

Carmela was the receptionist at the ad agency Lola worked for. She was in her early forties, married for fifteen years and she had two kids. There were three pictures on her desk: her wedding photo, a photo of her children in Halloween costumes and a picture of Jesus, surrounded by a weird pink glow.

All Carmela ever talked about was her family: how Julio (her husband) did a good job, fixing the porch, how Maria (her daughter) enjoyed her ballet lessons and how Domingo (her son) was upset when Batman (his hamster) died. In short, there was absolutely nothing about Carmela which suggested that she had a wild side.
