GREAT AUNTS DRESSING GOWN

The return of the prodigal son. I watched, shaking my head, as my Mother tried in vain to pick up one of the overweight boxes I was dragging into the house. The house in question was her house, not mine, in my former home town of Northwich, which now it seemed, was to be my home once more whether I liked it or not.
