"I don't think she loves me anymore," he said, adjusting his hands on the four-hundred pound bar as The Spotter held it firmly over him.
"But does she love you any less?" his friend asked, watching.
"That's not funny." He pulled lightly on the bar and the computerized machine brought it down until it met his mild resistance, moving it up as he pushed.
"How many reps are you doing?"
"A hundred," he said nonchalantly, then frowned. "Done!"
He dropped his hands as The Spotter raised the bar, securing it behind.
