Nadia turned at the last moment, avoiding the collision with the subway that would have killed her instantly. She had managed to keep her balance up to the last moment when Chrissy bumped into her but that completely threw her off and she nearly got transformed into ground Nadia right there. She took a deep breath and steadied herself again. The half dozen men and women dressed in black, with their faces and head covered, hoodies and some sort of scarf, were coming back. All of them were on bikes or wearing roller skates and all of them were yelling.

Nadia had seen them before around this subway station. They usually didn't cause trouble, but last week, the cameras got busted and the troubles had started. Not just with this gang, but there had been a few muggings and at least one attempted rape that Chrissy told her about. Not that Chrissy was a reliable source of news in general, but this one Nadia believed.
