One fine summer day, while running along the coast, the wind quit and the ship stopped moving.
"Oh well, I guess its time for the midday doldrums," the Captain said to himself. "I might as well keep the men busy anyway."
"Crow, straighten those lines."
"Aye aye, Captain," Crow replied.
"Swab, scrub the poop deck with the holystone."
"Aye aye, Captain," said Swab.
"Jane, polish and check the cannon."
