This book is dedicated to my real brother Elkin B. Smith Jr. No matter how many brotherhood organizations I belong to your brotherhood is the standard that I use to measure all others. Your continued love, support, guidance, and friendship has given me a great example to follow and some huge footsteps to walk in. I love and thank you for all that you have done and continue to do for me.
Chapter 1 C. Talmadge Green
Coleman Talmadge Green had it all. At least he possessed all of the material items so many people are always chasing. He was well educated, a professional man. Gainfully employed as an accountant at one of the nations premiere accounting firms Arthur Anderson in downtown Chicago, Illinois. He had a six-figure income and was the recent recipient of a promotion, which came complete with a corner office on a high floor even though many others at the firm were being let go due to major restructuring. His skills, competence, and loyalty to the company made him a valuable asset to the firm.
