The light has always been a divine symbol of hope and God’s presence and love. I often wondered what it was like beyond this physical universe. I always knew in my heart that there was more than the eye could see. I was quite confident about that. Just because I could not see something physically did not mean that it did not exist.

Sometimes we are spared physical shock by experiencing and seeing things in dreams. If we refuse to accept it we can always dismiss it as just a mere dream. Today and even as a child I always believed in dreams and sleeping was an opportunity for a peaceful escape and an adventure into the God worlds.

I will never forget the time when my mom told me the story of how her father at the age of 27 gathered the entire family at the dinner table, they prayed and he told my grandmother and their five children; two girls and three boys all under the age of eight that he had seen his mother and father in a dream.

In the dream his mom and dad were calling on him to join them on the other side. He did not want to leave my grandmother and his five children but he had a greater calling that required him to leave. For it was time for him to join his mom and dad on the other side.

There was work for him to do with his parents on the other side. My grandfather for the next month made preparations for his departure by chopping extra wood for the fireplace and doing other things around the home. He wanted to do as much as he could for his family during the short remaining time that he was here.
