"Remember what we did in my grandmother's old Chrysler?" he whispered.

The words seemed to float through the air, calling forth the memories, dancing across her nerve endings. She felt his hip touch hers and realized he'd closed the distance between them. She felt her anger flame out, leaving smoldering desire in its embers.

"I think I hear someone calling me," Jane whispered in a last ditch effort to save herself.

"I don't think so."

What if he touched her? What if he didn't?

She hadn't really thought to seduce him. But here he was, looking and sounding so incredibly seduceable in the dark. But who was bewitching who, she suddenly wondered in a moment of clarity.

"Don't you ever wonder what it would have felt like?" he whispered.
