In the north is a valley between two mountains. The valley has a lake, a forest, and many meadows and streams. Many different kinds animals live in the valley. Moose, squirrels, porcupines, beavers, rabbits, owls, and other animals live together. The animals always gather in the evening by the stream to drink. On one particular evening, the moose and the porcupine arrived late. They were not happy they had to share stream with each other. The porcupine complained the moose drank so much, there was no water left. The moose complained the porcupine dropped its quills in the water. They finally finished drinking and gathered with the other animals.
