A Promising Family Merger

The gorgeous young brunette, wading alone in the bed of the small stream, slowly made her way down the shallow creek. She was one of the teen-age volunteers from a local church participating in an Earth Day stream clean-up. She was collecting trash from the stream and the banks and putting it into large garbage bags. When she finished filling a bag she left it on the stream bank to be picked up by other volunteers later. The trash would be hauled to the nearest county material recovery facility where it would be sorted and the recyclable material in it would be merged into the stream of material sorted out of the county’s regular curbside recycling program.
