Station 10

Smoke bellowed from the window on the second floor blocking any rescue from downstairs.

Captain Leonard had just gotten off work and was heading home after a full days work.

He had heard an explosion but until he approached the intersection of Heath and Wells, only then was he able to see what was happening.

He quickly used his radio to call the Firehouse. Horrell answered immediately and informed him Engine 10 was on its way and should be there any moment.

It sounded like a gas explosion.
