INTRODUCTION

Love is a very complicated emotion. There are those feelings of love relating to the beginning stages of love, when its waves grow to a crescendo, and those times when it has reached its intended shores where the heart is being splashed upon joyously. Examples of this are emotions associated with the pursuit of love, falling in love, or being in love. Of course, these usually are positive expressions of love. However, there are other feelings affiliated with love that are not so positive. These are the despair and loneliness felt when being in love with another but it is not reciprocated, remorse over ill deeds performed to a loved one, or sadness and longing for someone who has passed away. Also, walking hand in hand with these positive and negative emotions of love are different scenarios and places, whether they be at home, while working, on a trip, during a specific season, or within one’s mind. As I said, love’s settings and feelings are numerous and can be complex. But these are the types poetic words on display here.
