Prologue

Watching a town die is not a pretty sight. A town dies when it runs out of money. It all begins with the ice cream truck that plays that familiar tune and brings those delicious fudge bars on hot summer days. You don’t see it anymore.

Next, the recreation department where the city pool is located places a lock and a CLOSED sign on the door. Cutbacks.

The sports teams you play on dwindle and disappear. Misery.
