Acting on Impulse
Olivia D. Monroe
This book is dedicated to my Papa John. He has been gone from this earth for 30 years and I still miss him every single day. I also dedicate it to my Mama Olivia. She has always been my rock and I love her with all of my heart.
I’d like to thank a few special people as well.
Kimmy, I want to thank you for rekindling my love of books; I am forever grateful to have had you in my life.
Angel, thank you for always being there for me, for not judging me no matter what, for just listening when I needed an ear, encouraging me when I needed a shove, being my voice of reason when you knew I was making a mistake and for just being you. You are the sister of my soul and I love you dearly.
Baby Girl I thank you for coming into my life at the lowest possible point when I felt like I was close to the depths of hell, making me smile and laugh and “giggle”, believing in me and loving me. You saved my life and I am forever in your debt. I love you, Baby Girl.
And last, but certainly not least, to my husband, Kevin. We have been together for 25 years and married for almost 21 of those. We’ve had incredible highs and devastating lows, but through it all, we’ve had each other. You gave me the most precious gifts that anyone has ever given me in my life, our boys. There are many things in my life that I would like to do over or change now that I am older and wiser, but one thing that I would never change is loving you. We’ve grown up together, grown apart and back together again, and no one on earth knows me better than you. You are my heart and my soul and I will love you until I draw my last breath.
