Flowerfly

Tanvers huddled inside her chrysanthemum pod. She was a budding flowerfly hibernating in a small living sanctuary. Absorbing nutrients from her host pod, she felt nourishing liquid being sent intravenously from stem and stigma. It pulsed through her limbs and thorax. Very quickly she was changing.
