“Sit Down Demarcus!” Ms. Smith yelled at me.
It’s always ‘Sit down Demarcus’, ‘Behave Demarcus’, ‘You’re going to detention Demarcus’, but Ms. Smith never says that to the other students. I really don’t think she likes me and I don’t know why.
“Hey Demarcus?” asked Joey who sits in the desk in front of me, “Can I borrow a pencil?”
Joey never brings his supplies to school. He always needs to borrow something from me, but he’s pretty cool so, I’m okay with it.
I reach down in my backpack to grab Joey a pencil, when again I hear…
“Demarcus Jones! That is the last time I tell you not to talk in my class. You’re going to detention.”
