Interview with Malije Ejilam

When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I read a lot, but I also go to school.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
No. But I have a feeling it was 'The night wanderer'.
What is your writing process?
If I am writing short stories, I pick up some stories I have already typed, polish them up, put them together and type some new ones.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
No clue. I've read soooooooooooooo many books.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
I love imagining other worlds, especially when I am angry or sad.
What do your fans mean to you?
I've always wanted to publish a book and it means so much to me that people enjoy my writing!
What are you working on next?
I'd like to write a collection of poetry, and I'm entering quite a few competitions as well as submitting my work to some magazines.
Who are your favorite authors?
I LOOOOOVE R.A Spratt and Eva Ibbotson.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I look them up on my Dad's kindle or search for free ones here.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
Well I love the Nanny Piggins series so I would have to say that those are my top seven. Nanny Piggins is humourous and fictional, and I love her because she's so funny and sensible.
What do you read for pleasure?
I love to read fictional and fantasy novels, sometimes humourous ones too.
