Describe your desk
My desk is big made by wood. Is also very heavy so I cannot move it around. On it I like to keep a picture with my beautiful family, a pen container, the laptop, phone and books. In the mornings there is my coffee mug too! :)
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in a small city in a poor family. This motivated me to study hard as a student and move to a bigger city. I do use my learning from those days in my stories.
When did you first start writing?
My first attempt about writing happen 3 years ago.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I am a teacher for young children in a private school. I have 10 years of experience in this field. I always used stories to teach my students to behave, to respect the classroom rules and to manage conflicts. I notice that this practice will always work so I wanted to share the stories with other kids from the world.
What are you working on next?
I want to create a set of books of Story Land to address to bigger children too.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I love life and life loves me back so I find this inspiring enough to wake up early and get out of the bed full of energy.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I love reading books of personal development. My truly hobby is to create textile toys for toddlers.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes... it was many years ago, in my high school period. It was a short story about stars.
What is your writing process?
I usually write in the evening. I find it a good period to be inspired.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
I use to read from my grandparents library when I was a kid. I always loved fables...so here I am today writing fables of my own.
How do you approach cover design?
This is my husband part! He is a graphic designer and a very talented one.
What are your five favorite books, and why?
I like personal development books and in the past few years these were my only inspiration and motivation.
