Interview with A Foster

How long have you been writing?
All of my life! Telling stories and making people laugh and even cry is my goal.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
When I find out that I have helped someone else unexpectedly in some way.
What do your fans mean to you?
Everything! You are not a true storyteller if you have not been put on the spot by your readers. They help me to stretch and become a better writer.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The miracle of watching the sunrise is a great place to start!
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
It was a poem.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Not the first story, but the first one that I fell in love with. Lord of the Rings.
How do you approach cover design?
I try to find something that reflects the story, in some way. Also, that would make a reader want to pick it up out of a stack of books because it caught their eye, and the title made them curious.
What do you read for pleasure?
Everything! Reading is a pleasure!
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My desktop.
