Interview with A Naturalbeing

What are you working on next?
I am going to write a book containing several short stories that combine and explain any words ending in 'Osopher'.
What motivated you to become an author?
I use writing as a form of therapy. If I put my thoughts down onto paper then they are not swirling around my head, thus allowing me to focus on living in the present moment to the max.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I believe that not many people nowadays will pick up Bertrand Russell's epic 'A History Of Western Philosophy'; I therefore condensed what I considered to be key points from this book into a shorter read.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
When what you're trying to explain clicks and forms into the perfectly expressed sentence.
How has Smashwords contributed to your success?
Smash words has given me an awesomely arranged platform to share my works.
What do your fans mean to you?
Everything. I and these books would be non-existent without other people.
Who are your favorite authors?
Dostoyevsky; Nietzsche; Bertrand Russell; Rudolf Steiner; Chris Thomason
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Daylight. A desire to put my own stamp onto the proceedings of the World. Curiosity.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Reading!
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I do online research but normally I let books come into my path via the recommendations of others.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
No.

I read big so that you can read small. I know that being contemplative about life is not always beneficial as the excessive thoughts can weigh you down and take you out of the eternal moment, but I also know that reading snippets like the ones in the book help to put some of your present worries and troubles into a larger perspective. None of us can ever be too busy to wonder how to make ourselves
