When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
When I am not writing I like to watch t.v and spend time with my friends and family.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Most of the ebooks i read are recommended by friends, but i will occasionally browse the books and read their descriptions. I am more apt to read horror or mystery stories than anything else.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes, it is CUPID.
What is your writing process?
My writing process consists of me doing some research for the story I am writing. Once the research is done i sit at the computer with the beginning and the ending in mind and just let the rest fall into place as i go.
How do you approach cover design?
I usually try to make a cover design with pictures i take with my cell phone using pixlr. If i can't come up with something i like i will go to wattpad and ask one of my friends to do the cover for me.
What do you read for pleasure?
For pleasure i read anything by Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe, Agatha Christie, or Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
My e-reading device at the moment is a nook, but i also use my cell phone.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Mission,Texas. The area I grew up in didn't influence my writing though. My writing is influenced by the movies I watched and books I read while growing up.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing poetry when i was 30 years old. A year later i began to dabble in short stories.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I became an indie author because i wanted to share my works with the world, but didn't have the funds to go through traditional publishing. Plus as an Indie author I have more control with my stories and when and where they are released. I get to work at my own pace and set my own schedule/ goals.
What are you working on next?
I am currently working on a collaboration with one of my brothers. I will keep the details hush hush for now, but i will say that KARMA plays a key role in it.
Who are your favorite authors?
My favorite authors are Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe, Agatha Christie, and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
The thought of being able to write a little bit in my spare time.
What do your fans mean to you?
My fans mean everything because without them I wont have a reason to continue writing.
