It all started at an early age when my grandmother and my aunt used to tell us stories as children at night, often during moonlight. However, the stories that intrigued me the most were Bible stories such as David and Goliath and the life of Jesus. At Sunday School in Anglican Church, I used to pummel my Sunday School teachers about Bible stories. At home, I would carry Bible to my Dad to read for me.

Once I could read and understand at age 9, it was like a new world just opened to me. Thus, by age 9, I had read through the entire Bible page to page, repeated the same feat the following year when I was 10. After I finished reading through the Bible, my attention turned to any book around. I was literally a book-worm. My father kept a small library at home, and I read everything that was available to me. I would even bargain with my father not to buy Christmas clothes for me then, which was the common practice of that time, but should rather use the money to buy me books.

Interestingly, as I read, I started to write. I wrote poems in my Primary School, some which are still present with me, and even started to keep diaries of events, quite unusual for a child of 10 years!

The story behind the SSB Book Series is all about my deep desire to know why I am in this world. For instance, why was I born in the late twentieth century AD and why not in the 5th century BC? No doubt there is a Creator God. Why did the Creator decide that I should be born at this time, at this specific place, and not at some other place? What am I here to accomplish? How can I accomplish it?

There is no way a man can obtain answers to these fundamental questions of life without first realising how he was created to function. That is the message of the SSB Book series.

How to Develop Your Mind and Spirit for Exploits is actually the second book in the SSB Book series. SSB stands for ‘Spirit, Soul, and Body.’ It unveils the three realms of human nature – spirit, soul, and body, which is referred to as the tripartite existence. In other words, a human is essentially a spirit being, possesses a soul, and lives in a physical body. This is very obvious if you study the Bible, which is the Manual of Life from the Creator Himself.

SSB Book 1 thoroughly analyses these three realms of human nature, marrying Biblical and scientific knowledge. SSB Book 2, titled How to Develop Your Mind and Spirit for Exploits, deals on how an individual can function and maximize his life purpose, using the knowledge of his tripartite nature.

In other words, SSB Book 1 deals on the anatomy of the tripartite nature of humans, as it completely unveils and simplifies the truth of the structure of humans, while SSB Book 2 deals on the physiological function of the human nature.
