Interview with Amy Rose

Who are your favorite authors?
I love reading the works of J.K Rowling, Diana Gabaldon, Cassandra Clare, Nicholas Sparks and Julia Kent
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My family, i have a wonderful husband and a young son who is going through the incredibly active toddler years.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Baking sweets, photography, travelling and spending time with my family.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I love reading so many different genres of books, I find a lot of the books I read whilst scrolling through Facebook or from word of mouth.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
I certainly do, it was a short story during primary school, it was about a swan returning home.
What is your writing process?
When i have an idea i quickly use shorthand scribble it onto a notepad, or tap it out on my computer, whatever is closest. It may not make a whole lot of sense to anyone else who reads it but I then turn that into my story.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
My heavens, we are going back now, I read a lot as a child, bedtime stories, nursery rhymes etc, The first book that i read that really made an impact was the Harry Potter Series, specifically Harry Potter and The Philosopher's Stone
What are your five favorite books, and why?
This is an incredibly hard question to answer, limiting the thousands of books I have read throughout the years to only five.

Let me answer it this way, The Harry Potter Series, The Mortal Instruments Series and The Outlander Series have all had an impact on me, in there own way, I love being able to escape reality and imagine myself being right there, in their own world with these characters.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
I love reading my Ibooks on my Ipad Mini, or my Iphone, great for on the go.
Describe your desk
My desk is dominated by my blue laptop, scattered with notepads and photo frames with photographs of my loved ones staring out at me.
What do your fans mean to you?
My fans mean the world to me, I love to connect with each and everyone of you.

I love sharing my stories with each and everyone of you, and for this i am extremely grateful to you all.
What are you working on next?
I am currently knee deep in the second book in my trilogy, I am hoping to release it by Mid 2018.
