Yeah, it was so bad that it seemed to be quite ok. That fact that that was the case was actually pretty darn sad... I was 12 years old when I wrote it. I say this was the first story I wrote because it was the first 'serious' story I ever finished.
It was named "Enslaved - Becoming the Pharaoh" (Swe: Från Slav till Farao) and was inspired by the biblical tale of Joseph. It actually had the kind of story line that one could really elaborate on further :) Despite the fact that the main character was a girl (and would become QUEEN, not Pharaoh) the story could work. I actually had a sequel in mind that was going to be called "ISIS - Daughter of Ra" or "BASTET - Daughter of Ra"
Anything I'm in the mood for :) Mostly adventure/romance/detective-stuff :) I don't really mind reading about things I can't relate to but I prefer if I can somewhat identify myself with the main character^^ Like age-wise and personality traits :) It makes it easier to get into the story ^^
What is your e-reading device of choice?
iPhone :) maybe even PC or Mac (probably since I haven't really tried many other devices ;) )
When did you first start writing?
When I started pre-school. When I started to learn how to write and started to explore the possibilities. Before that I had spent most evenings and good night times with my dad, making up stories as we went. Sometimes they'd actually turn out to be quite amazing stories.
What's the story behind your latest book?
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Exploring things you'd never thought YOUR own mind was capable of producing :) Just surprising yourself I guess^^
Who are your favorite authors?
Enid Blyton, J.R.R Tolkien, Robert Jordan, Arthur Conan Doyle (Sherlock Holmes), Jane Austen, Shakespeare,
And some more :)
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
What makes me get out of bed in the morning and go to school is thinking of the feeling of exiting the school and going back home :)
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
trying to find inspiration, mostly, while doing all the things I don't really enjoy doing - such as going to school and learning about stuff that I kind of don't need to learn, suffering and enduring the never-ending drama twists of girls... I think I might puke on the next girl that shoots me a glare just because somebody blew a speck of dust on her newly painted nails..
