Interview with Ann Rhodes

What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
The greatest joy is invoking emotions in the people who read what I write.
What are you working on next?
I'm working on putting together an ebook of some of the poetry I've written.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Seeing the beauty each day holds.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I love to garden and read.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Looking through Smashwords, or from recommendations from friends.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Not the first story but the first poem I wrote was about how much I loved my Teddy Bear. I was pretty young.
What do you read for pleasure?
My Bible
When did you first start writing?
I remember sitting at my desk at school, being bored with whatever it was the teacher was trying to teach me, writing poetry to keep my mind busy.
What's the story behind your latest book?
I write poetry, not books but the story behind From the Cross to Pentecost covers the story of the the death of Jesus through to the arrival of The Holy Spirit.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
It's more of a hobby for me so I love the new technology that allows me to hand my poem over to my publisher and they take care of putting my poetry into an ebook. Plus I still own all the rights to my work so I can do whatever I want with it.
