Interview with Ariel Lei

What do your fans mean to you?
They are a big inspiration to me, and I appreciate every one of them.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My son.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I spend it with friends and family.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
It was when I was sixteen and in six form waiting for my drama class to start. I was listening to music at the time, and the song gave me an idea for a book, which I went on to write. It hasn't been seen before, but maybe one day I will publish it.
What is your writing process?
Listening to music to get me in the mood. Then starting one chapter, going back to it a week later to edit, and then go on to the next chapter, and so on.
What do you read for pleasure?
Romance books mainly.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Kindle fire.
Describe your desk
I write anywhere, so I don't have one.
When did you first start writing?
When I was sixteen.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
I just love writing and decided to give it a go.
