Interview with Gx0zt Zyfr

Published 2014-08-03.
Who are your favorite authors?
Hunter S. Thompson, Douglas Adams, Chuck Palahniuk, Stephen King.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Using the toilet, and the pursuit of superpowers.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Trying to move things with my mind, or trying to build a spaceship. Sometimes both.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes I do. Barely Though.
What is your writing process?
I don't have one. Process smothers creativity. The closest thing I have to a process is I think about stuff, and then I go "Hey that was an interesting thought", and then I write it down... sometimes.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
No. I Can't remember that far back.
How do you approach cover design?
I have no process. I go by feel.
Describe your desk
It's a mess. Actually mess is a bit of an understatement. More like a tragedy.
When did you first start writing?
I've always written. Just never productively.
What's the story behind your latest book?
A lot of drugs, and music. Over time you'll find that to be a recurring theme.
What motivated you to become an indie author?
My only discernible skills are my creativity, my sarcasm, and my apathy so writing was a natural choice.
What are you working on next?
Something even more strange than my last story.
