What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
I am inspired everyday by my personal desire to make a difference in the world around me. My accomplishments will be my legacy and I operate on the premise that time is short.
When did you first start writing?
I've been interested in writing my entire life, poems and songs that can tell a story. Maybe that's my attraction to painting and drawing pictures, is that it's another form of telling a story.
Who are your favorite authors?
My favorite book in the whole world is Illusions by Richard Bach. A wonderful and enlightening short story about the adventures of a reluctant messiah.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
When I'm not writing, I'm busy managing a one of a kind magical art village called The Art Colony in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. A unique and artistic property designed to enhance the abilities of young and enthusiastic artists of all kinds.
What's the story behind your latest book?
The story behind the book Bullet Proof Kids is that I could not let these kids tragic story go undocumented! I needed to create a platform so these incredible kids could have a voice from beyond the grave.
What are you working on next?
The next chapter of my life will be dedicating my art experience and education, to enhancing the art abilities of others.
