Writing to me is just as much of an escape from reality as it is my readers. I write in the medieval era, so it allows me to jump back in time and create fantastic characters from that era.
What do your fans mean to you?
The fact that I even have "fans" still blows my mind. My readers are very important to me as they offer me the encouragement and support to continue doing what I love.
What are you working on next?
Too many projects! I am working on finishing up my Protectors of the Crown Series as well as venturing on a few side projects with some other authors on a few upcoming multi-author box sets.

Vonda Sinclair, Eliza Knight, BJ Scott and Suzan Tisdale.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
My 3 year son...though I have little choice. He doesn't let me sleep in! LOL
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
I work full time in the mailing/printing industry and I am a full time mom. Both keep me quite busy and doesn't give me a lot of time to write.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Mainly, I find them on Amazon or on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes. The Honor of a Highlander. It was published back in 2013. I had never planned on publishing it only because I was new to the industry and didn't think I was any good. Surprisingly, the book did very well and launched me down a new path and I have been loving every minute of it sense.
What is your writing process?
When I write, I am usually scattered-brained. I write scenes as opposed from Chapter One to the end. I then go back and fill in the holes.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
In regards to Historical Romance which is the genre I write in, I would have to say that my 1st book was The Bride by Susan Paul. I must have been about 18 or 19 years old. I always had a passion for the medieval era.
How do you approach cover design?
I have hired one of the top award-winning graphic designers, Mr. Zak who is just amazing!

Kindle app on my phone

I don't write at a desk, except at work. I write anywhere I am when an idea or a scene pops into my head.
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
When did you first start writing?
I used to write poetry when I was in high school, but I didn't take on full novels until 2012.
