Interview with V Francis
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
Ex-mill town in Lancashire - my imagination has always been on overdrive!
When did you first start writing?
I'll have you know I had a book published when I was 8.
(Okay, okay, it was self-published, written in HB pencil, illustrated in crayon and bound with a old cereal box)
Describe your desk
What motivated you to become an indie author?
Power to the people
Is Vickie Francis your real name?
No (don't tell any one, I nicked it)
Why do you publish under a pseudonym?
I'm just a bit shy I suppose...(ah, bless)
How old are you?
Old enough to know better
Where did the idea for Frankie Flint come from?
My imagination (and, initially, an instilled fear of crossing railway lines)
What do you read for pleasure?
I love browsing various ebook stores and taking a punt. I'm usually happy. I love reading books from new and unknown authors.
What do your fans mean to you?
I only know of 1 so far and she's awesome.
What are you working on next?
Think I'll go and make a butty for lunch
