Interview with A. Stark

Who are your favorite authors?
Ah, really? This is so tough! I love a lot of authors. Douglas Clegg is by far my number one. He has been such an inspiration to me. Also, Edgar Allan Poe, JRR Tolkien, CS Lewis, Cassandra Clare, Gena Showalter, Charlaine Harris, Anne Rice, Karen Traviss, R.A. Salvatore, Thomas Harris, Rick Riordan...this list could go on and on.
What are you working on next?
The sequel to my debut novel and the second in the Crestfall series, which is titled "Stonefall." I'm also working on several standalone novellas, and one standalone full length novel called "Scavengers."
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Reading. Spending time with those closest to me. Thinking about writing(actually, I probably do more thinking than actual writing in the first place). Also, catching up on my favorite shows, because I need those, am I right?
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
Usually by browsing recommended reads on sites like GoodReads, or by recommendations from friends.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Unfortunately, yes. I was ten years old and it was terrible.
What is your writing process?
I don't know know that I have a "process" so much as I just get an idea and run with it. I work out the details as I go.
What do you read for pleasure?
Whatever happens to catch my interest! Although there are certain series and authors that I do my best to keep up with.
What is your e-reading device of choice?
Describe your desk
Messy! There are pens everywhere, more scrap paper than I can keep up with, and probably a few too many toys and trinkets.
