Interview with Awwthentic

What do you read for pleasure?
Everything. From Fiction to Non-Fiction, Autobiography to Fantasy. Just about Everything that I find nice.
Describe your desk
Comprises of Notebooks where I first sketch my stories - Plot Construction and stuff. There are few books on one side along with the book that I am reading currently. My iPad and My PC along with few stationaries I need. And if you want to know about the details of my desk then it is made of wood and has floral designs on it's edges. :)
Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I am from India and I guess writing is not something you can actually acquire. I don't know I don't think it works that way. Inherit, yeah , it comes naturally. Something that is purely God-Gifted. I been writing short stories and poems since I was in primary school. My interest in Literature and poetry pursued it. I am a great fan of Victorian and Romantic age novelist and poets.
When did you first start writing?
I was in primary school when I wrote my first poem. It's in some old diary that I used to maintain.
What's the story behind your latest book?
Currently I am working on 2 stories at wattpad.

One is a Fan-Fiction based on Delena from The. Vampire Diaries.

Well, first things first my story is about human and not vampires. It deals with. Delena's chemistry.

Description : How will it make you feel when a guy having the same title as your Ex’s, the one you never could forget, enters your life?

Once Bitten Twice Shy – Elena Gilbert, after being hurt and totally shattered by her first love, Stefan Salvatore, who broke her beyond repair, is still juggling between her past and present. To make things worse The Paragon-of-Virtue, The Ever Cheerful, Sexy, Charming and Determined Damon Salvatore makes an un-welcomed entry in her life, promising her a future Forever’s are made of. His title was enough for her to know “He Spelled Trouble”. She can’t help but compare him with Stefan. Her numerous attempts to push him away fails as he is determined to get what he wants. She couldn’t be too harsh with him as that might lead the Partnership between their father’s go bitter. He made it very clear to her that he wants her but….At her Heart’s approval! He is sure his love will help her uncover her buried feelings and dreams and make her fall for him.

Damon is the kind of guy who can have any girl then why would he want her? What if he had some wicked plans?

Will Elena really be able to overcome her past and let Damon’s love heal the Scar’s of her heart?

And the second one is A Sequel to my story Fairytale LoveStory (based on Taylor Swift song Love Story) titled Being Cupid : Another Cinderella Story.

It's best on how two friend Sarag and. Emily finds their true love. (It has a Disney touch)

Description :
Sarah Santiago led a tough life but her believe in True Love was Strong, like those fairytales she grew up reading. And for the proof, she had her Best Friend - Emily Walters, who is living a Fairytale LoveStory and is soon to be Marrying her Prince Charming - David Johnson.

Sarah's first dance with the handsome and charming John Parker at Emily's 18th Birthday led to a Broken Sandel and as if that was not enough, Her BFF started Being Cupid.

Sarah didn't liked John at all. First glance at him and she knew he is a player, a non-believer in Love.

Can Sarah stop Emily from Being Cupid or she will go beyond her belief and fall in love with someone who doesn't even believe in love? Because truth of the situation was that Sparks did fly when their eyes met, no matter how much she denies.

Is John really the one for who Sarah had been waiting for her dreams to come true, Her Knight in Shining Armour?

Will John, who has a bad past and according to David is a playboy, is capable of loving Sarah as she wants to be loved?

Read the Story and Find out how the two couple finally steps on to the path of "And they Lived Happily Everafter" :)
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
It gives me immense pleasure to write and express myself through my characters and connect to readers. Inspire them, entertain them, give them something that would teach them a lesson or two about life and relationships. It's kind of my way to leave behind my legacy to the world. :)
What do your fans mean to you?
My motivators. It says everything. Doesn't it?
What are you working on next?
A story based on Islamic Culture ...which will help people know things about Islam and it's so called 'Rigid Views.' Through my story I want to inspire people to pay heed to what they are doing with their life and at the same times make it clear that whatever Islam says, is for good. It's strict but there is nothing extremist about it. It just depends upon people how they perceive things, what they accept and what they reject, as per their Convinience. And it's useless to blame Any religion for this, because it is completely an Individual's choice. Through my story, readers would know that. Islam only intends to benefit and protect their believers, from committing hideous sins that will only ruin their life and make them a sinner in the eyes of the world and god. You got to read it, to know what it is about.
Who are your favorite authors?
William Shakespeare to be the first. Jane Austen. Lewis Carol. Louisa M Alcott. .Nicholas Sparks, Daniele Steel, Lynee. Graham, Carole Mortimer, Penny Jordan, Robert Ludlum, John Greene, L.J. Smith and just so many more.

I know all fairytales were actually not so feel good, dreamy sort of stories. I have read them all But I love Disney Fairytales versions more. And I am afraid I have no idea who re-created/edited them except the fact that they come under Disney.
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
Opening my eyes from some dreams or some lingering thoughts...and I feel inspired ..... At the start of the day itself and I just pen them down or type in my iPad..whatever I reach first. ;) It's almost the same everyday.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Working on photoshop, reading, spending time with my family especially kids. Sleeping, shopping, dreaming with open eyes (call it Imagining, if you want to) Just anything that I feel like doing so at that moment.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Yes. Ofcourse I do. It was something I wrote inspired by Cinderella mixed with my own experiences in life. I have not published it and I doubt I ever will.
Do you remember the first story you ever read, and the impact it had on you?
Danielle Steel's Promise. It just left me feeling so full with emotions, I never been through those situations and I wish I never...but yet I could feel it so deep inside me whatever the protagonist went throug, her thoughts, her emotions just engulfed me so deeply. Same happened when I read Nicholas Sparks "walk to remember" and Danielle Steel's "Gift"

Pride and Prejudice invoke me the thoughts that left a great impact on me and sort of influenced me into writing.

The sadness , the tough and hard side of life inspires me the most to write. My current story "Scars of the heart" deals with issues a girl faces when her heart is broken, trust shattered and all hopes lost.
How do you approach cover design?
I do it myself, and even for others ... After understanding what the story is about. I try to find the perfect characters or background images for the same, looks out for the fonts that suits it well and design accordingly. By far, I am successful in giving good covers to those who wanted.
