Where did you grow up, and how did this influence your writing?
I grew up in Nigeria, with my dad, mum, and four younger siblings. My dad read a lot and he encouraged me to do the same, even making me read in church as young as 6.
When did you first start writing?
I started writing quite early. By 11 i had two manuscripts of short stories ready, though i'll say i was too embarrassed to show it to anyone. But by thirteen, i wrote another one that was published two years later.
What's the story behind your latest book?
The story is about a woman who thinks her fishes are being stolen by her family members, but she has a surprise coming up.
What is the greatest joy of writing for you?
Just knowing that i am actually writing something meaningful and enjoyable, both to myself and others.
What do your fans mean to you?
They mean a lot. They are the success behind every book and author.
What are you working on next?
A mystery novel, Am half way through it.
Who are your favorite authors?
Chinua Achebe, R.L Stine, James Patterson
What inspires you to get out of bed each day?
To see the beautiful day, and experience its mysteries, which also provides story lines for me.
When you're not writing, how do you spend your time?
Reading, or watching movies, or whatever is engaging at the moment.
How do you discover the ebooks you read?
I search for them. Or some might pop-up while am searching for something else.
Do you remember the first story you ever wrote?
Not really. It was a series of short stories, and i don't really know where the manuscripts are at the moment.
